Congratulations on accepting an offer! Time to instruct your chosen solicitor. Your solicitor will conduct searches, review contracts, and ensure that the sale is legally binding. By now you will have accepted your offer and instructed your solicitor, therefore it’s now time for conveyancing! Your conveyancer will then send out a draft contract stating the particulars of the sale. Shortly after, you will receive documents from your solicitor for you to conclude such as information on fixtures and fittings, certification and guarantees you may have. Once all of your forms and supporting documents have been submitted, your solicitor will deal with the rest by responding to enquiries made from your buyer’s solicitor.

At this stage you will await the final payment, prepare to vacate the property and hand over the keys.
